Most people get hung up on trying to use it as a file browser, which it is not. A big selling point is it's seamless integration with the effects module, which is outstanding.ДЄs a first time user, LR editing is as easy as it gets. On1 has a longer learning curve, mainly because you would not use it just to use the develop module. There are too many features I'd lose if I abandoned LR. I do believe that digital photography has put some photographers 'behind the curve' as digital photography does require knowing digital photography processing software. You might consider paying someone else to process your photos if you do not want to learn the required software. There are no good shortcuts to creating well-crafted images.

ON1 is a great program, as are many others, but they all require the user to understand and know the program well in order to use it effectively. The more you know about the program prior to using it, the more effective will be your use of it. P3Д®VERY program you use has a learning curve. Lightroom is OK but the learning curve is much harder for a first time user and I am thinking that ON1 will be much easier with the same features. I understand that ON1 will be upgraded in June os this year and I an curious to know if it is simpler to learn than Lightroom. Has anyone had any experience with using ON1 as a Raw processor as a substitute for Lightroom.
